I must say I was nervous about taking the VTNE. I've always been a C student and borderline passed many of my classes. I studied routinely using Vet Tech Prep and buying a study guide from Amazon. There were many questions in VTP and the book I've never learned in school. The questions are very randomized, and to no surprise I've gotten some that seemed completely foreign to me (I stared when I came across a question that said "Stridor is also known as." when I've never seen nor heard the term before) in the end I passed with a 455, which was obviously on the lower end. ![]() Reading other people's responses saying they got scores up in the 6-700's really reflected on me intellectually. However, I begin to realize it's not about everything I've tried to cram into my brain for the past 2+ years, it's about how I can apply it. Everyone has weak points, mine tends to be anatomy and chemistry. Either way I can still be a vet tech, as long as I apply myself right and take the time to visit my weak points when I need to.Mometrix Test Preparation's VTNE Secrets Study Guide is the ideal prep solution for anyone who wants to pass their Veterinary Technician National Exam. The exam is extremely challenging, and thorough test preparation is essential for success.
